Weekend desserts

Weekend is for fun, fun like walk to the park and going to the brunch, or fun like making sweets, cakes, cookies  with your family. So, we did all of that this weekend! We spend sunday in the Fort Tryon park and Cloisters museum. Inside of a park is a very interesant restaurant called New Leaf, service is very good and the brunch was quite nice. I recommend this place for weekend fun ;)

And now, something for dessert :) Nutella cookies with only three ingredients. They are so delicious and easy to make. I m looking forward to make these lovelys with my baby boy when he grow up a little. Whole family enjoys eating them, so cookies disappeard in a blink of an eye.

Nutella cookies

Ingredients for 25 cookies:

  • 180 gr of nutella + more on the top
  • 150 gr of flour
  • 1 egg
Mix nutella and egg with mixer and add flour. Kned it well to make a dough. Left in the fridge to rest for 30 min. After 30 min divide dough into 25 pieces, make balls put them in the baking pan a squeeze each ball with a thumb. Put nutella with a teaspoon in the dent, or you can put chopped hazelnuts into the dent. Bake them in oven for 10 min on 340 F.

My sister bring us beautiful cake from Italy, the cake that they traditionaly make and eat for Easter. Colomba is the name of it, and translation is Dove, because the shape of  cake is like a dove with spreaded wings. Of course we didnt save it for Easter, we eat it one afternoon with a cup of coffee. Maybe I will try to make it on my own for Easter :)

Till the next post, XoXo πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹
